About Vermont Wetland Plant Supply, LLC

Vermont Wetland Plant Supply, LLC was founded in March 2007 by Daniel C. Redondo to provide native herbaceous wetland plants to the growing stormwater and ecological restoration industries in Vermont. Having previously worked in the ecological consulting and design field as a senior aquatic ecologist with Pioneer Environmental Associates and an aquatic ecologist with The Bioengineering Group, Mr. Redondo recognized that successful ecological restoration and stormwater management projects require native plants to provide soil stability, improve water quality, and offer diverse habitat functions. While plants native to New England are readily available from out of state nurseries, herbaceous wetland plants native to and grown in the unique ecotone of Vermont have not been available until now. Vermont Wetland Plant Supply grows over 40 species, including sedges (8 species), bulrushes (6 species), bur-reeds (2 species) for stormwater systems and ecological restoration.Vermont Wetland Plant Supply is also pleased to provide assitance to ecological designers and engineers in the selection of plants for their projects. Additionally, Vermont Wetland Plant Supply can provide on-site guidance and supervsion during the planting phase of your project. Mr. Redondo can be reached at 802-948-2553 (office) or 802-989-5931 (cell).
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
